What do I need to join?

  • To join the programme, you will need a good standard of English language.
  • To join the programme, you must be 18-25 years old and living in London.
  • To join the programme, it would be good to have a basic idea of a business you want to launch.
  • To join the programme, you will need to be able to commit 1 hour per week for 12 weeks.

Why is it free?

The ActionCOACH Foundation offers the Young Entrepreneur Smart Start (YESS) programme for free. Lizzy Lloyd collaborates with the Foundation to deliver this 12-week programme, which aims to support social mobility through entrepreneurship among young people aged 18 to 25 with a business idea living in London.

The Challenges & Solutions

This programme is designed to offer a long-lasting solution through free enterprise education for 18-25 year olds.

What will I learn?

You can participate in a weekly virtual session to learn about the topic. Typically, the live session runs for one hour on a weekday evening. If you can't attend the live virtual session, you can still access the lesson by logging into your dedicated portal whenever possible. After completing each lesson, you can reflect on what you learned, and you have the option to book a 30-minute one-on-one support meeting each week.

Week 1: Getting in the right mindset 1

Developing a focused and strategic business mindset is vital for aspiring entrepreneurs. In this session, we will explore essential elements such as setting clear goals, understanding market dynamics, and embracing adaptability. We'll also highlight the importance of resilience and continuous learning.

By the end, participants will gain insights into the attitudes needed for long-term business success.

Week 2: Getting in the right mindset 2

Limiting beliefs are the mental barriers that prevent us from realising our full potential. These beliefs often stem from past experiences, societal expectations, or negative self-talk and can create significant obstacles in our personal and professional lives. Identifying and addressing these unproductive thoughts can clear the path for growth, exploration, and self-discovery. Overcoming these beliefs unlocks new opportunities, boosts our self-esteem, enhances our relationships, and improves our overall well-being. It allows us to pursue our goals with confidence and clarity.

Week 3: Are you ready to be an entrepreneur?

Are you ready to explore the challenging yet rewarding world of entrepreneurship? In this journey, you will uncover both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with building your own business from the ground up. This session offers you a chance to reflect on your personal aspirations as an entrepreneur.

Week 4: Making your dreams come true

In this session, we will explore practical steps and effective strategies to guide you in pursuing that dream. We will discuss setting achievable goals, overcoming obstacles, and maintaining motivation. By the end of our time together, you will have a deeper understanding of the actionable steps to move closer to realising your aspirations, empowering you to take charge of your journey toward success.

Week 5: Wealth creation

Creating wealth goes beyond simply generating income; it encompasses establishing enduring financial resources that can be passed down through generations. This concept of generational wealth is crucial, as it not only provides economic stability for future descendants but also empowers them with opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and overall social mobility. Week 9: Leveraging leadership

Strong leadership is essential for guiding organisations toward their objectives in today's fast-paced business landscape. Week 10-12: Catch up & next steps

Teamwork is essential for the success of any business, so over the coming weeks, we will work together to review our previous work and ensure that everyone has completed their tasks and is on track to pass the course. Additionally, we will discuss the next steps for you and your business, including an exciting opportunity to launch your business using Lizzy Lloyd's Business Launch Package!

By course completion, participants will have created a Vision Board, Business Plan and Business Pitch Video that can be used for future purposes such as pitching competitions, crowdfunding, or pitching to investors.
